Why We Love them

Dog Mocs are handcrafted from premium, wild American deerskin, which provides the ultimate in softness and comfort, but with extreme durability. Deerskin has long been considered nature’s finest leather. It is known as “dry-soft” leather. Even after repeated cycles of getting wet and drying, the deerskin will continue to remain soft and flexible. It won’t stiffen or crack, as can be the case with cowhide leather.

Additionally, water does not affect the deerskin’s durability or lasting quality. The deerskin also has a natural water resistance, which is enhanced in the tanning process. Leather conditioners are not needed for our Dog Mocs. Most will not only darken the leather but will also affect its breathability.

To clean, simply use warm water and a soft towel. A mild soap may also be used, however, do not use any products containing solvents.

Please note Dog Mocs are sold in pairs, (not a set of 4). Why? Dogs have larger front paws than in the rear, and for some dogs, that difference is large enough that it’s best for that dog to put one size on the front and a smaller size on the back. This allows a dog owner to custom fit their dog. Additionally, if a dog injures a paw, the owner is not forced to buy a full set of 4, but can simply buy a pair.

Measure the widest part of your dog’s paw. The measurement is best when taken standing.

X-Small: Up to 1″ Width, less than 15 lbs
Small: 1″ up to 1.5″ Width, 15-25+ lbs
Medium: 1.5″ up to 2″ Width, 30-45+ lbs
Large: 2″ up to 2.50″ Width, 50-65+ lbs
X-Large: 2.5″ up to 3″ Width, 70-90 lbs
XX-Large: Greater than 3″ Width, greater than 90 lbs
